According to several blogs, a Best Buy leak shows the launch date for the HTC Thunderbolt to be Feb. 14. The Thunderbolt is essentially the EVO running on Verizon's 4G-LTE network. In other words, it will be the fastest, baddest phone on the market with the Sprint EVO a close second.

That reign won't last long, however, as a slew of faster 4G phones are skedded to hit the market in the next few months.

The Verizon Wireless battle now is clearly a decision of the HTC Thunderbolt vs. the iPhone. Click that link to see how they stack up against each other.

How does the Motorola DROID 2 compare to the DROID X?

Two Smartphones. Similar but also very different.

Several of our readers have asked us how the new Motorola DROID 2 compares to the recently released DROID X. Of course, the most obvious (and probably biggest) difference between the DROID 2 and DROID X is the difference in display size. The DROID X has a large 4.3 inch display, while the DROID 2 has a substantially smaller (but still nicely sized) 3.7 inch display.

Despite a number of differences beyond display size that certainly define each phone -- think QWERTY keyboard and camera -- the DROID 2 and DROID X are also pretty similar in a good number of ways. How similar? Well, check out this comprehensive DROID 2 vs. DROID X comparison chart.
